mug's intro

Hello. I'm a guy that goes by mug, sam, ven, or runo and I'm the webmaster of this horrendous site.

Backstory. The 'mug emotions' has existed since 2021 where I would use the discord bot "Tupperbox" to show different emotions I was feeling (think of tone indicators but for emotions). I then decided to make them into characters. Since there are a lot of emotions I kept making more and more and now I have this ever growing collection. These characters became outlets for my emotions. If I was feeling a very strong emotion, I would draw the corresponding character in my notebook.

Now I can't have characters without automatically thinking of stories to go with them and that's how an entire universe was born. I've already made a document with all of the current characters and the beginning of the main story, but I realised how much I hated how it looked and how difficult it is to navigate so that's why I made this site on impulse.

More About me. I'm an emo high schooler that's really into the entire Ace Attorney franchise as of 08/10/2024. My hobbies include drawing, writing, making music and gaming. I'm very into the 2000s (alt scene) and a lot of my life revolves around it, like music and fashion. I listen to mostly pop-punk and post-hardcore; My favourite bands are My Chemical Romance, Pierce the Veil, Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco (LOL I know what you're thinking: "omfg those are the most mainstream 'emo' bands" but in my defense there's a reason they're popular. THEIR SONGS ARE RLY GOOD and most of the songs in my playlist are from them.) I DIY a lot of stuff too for my outfits, like belts and bracelets.
